Our service began first and foremost with a demand for a service, which as far as we can tell didn’t exist then and still doesn’t outside of us. It all started when Jon (picture below), was visiting his grandad’s grave and he came across flowers at the memorial that he remembered placing at the headstone over 6-months prior! It’ll come as no surprise to anybody who’s tended to fresh flowers before that the flowers had well and truly withered, and the whole image of his grandad’s memorial had become a rather sombre sight.

It was at this point that Jon thought to himself – why is there nobody I could pay on a monthly basis to deliver fresh flowers to the grave, and while they’re at it give the memorial a clean, then maybe they could send me a photo, so If nothing else, I have peace of mind that it’s one less thing to worry about🤔

 Just like that the idea for the Always There After Care service was born. Like many services before it, the idea sprung from a deep need for the service itself, and a lack of suitable options in the market to solve that need.
