Always There After Care

“I think always there aftercare is different from other services mainly because we are in the cemetery, tending to memorials, more frequently than any other service out there. Now I’m sure they would probably say that perhaps you don’t need to be at the memorial that often in order to keep it presentable, and in a sense, maybe they’re right…

…but my question is – isn’t that the whole point of a memorial? Isn’t it supposed to be tended to little & often? And aren’t fresh flowers supposed to be present commemorating the grave all year-round?

We also understand we’re just there to clean the headstone, replace the flowers, and send a message to the family and friends of the deceased… and we will. But although we have no direct connection to these people who have passed over, it sure feels like, a regular & respectful presence like ours goes a long way to keeping these memorials alive in spirit. ”
